- Federer WAS fined, although not as much as Serena, for using audible profanity - so were two other players. Serena went on a tirade threateaning a lineswoman, and that merited a different kind of fine. http://www.tennis.com/news/news.aspx?id=185956

- People need to read properly: her probationary period is for two years - 2010 & 2011 and in the Grand Slams; if she behaves during that time the probation will be lifted. What, imo, is definitely sad is that there needs to be some kind of punishment for some athletes to behave.
